Faigie Carmel is a writer and researcher. She’s written fiction, blog posts, emails, and articles. Faigie’s background is in speech and language disorders and teaching remedial Hebrew reading skills. She has also homeschooled 3 children at various stages of her life. Currently, Faigie is home with little children, caring for adult siblings, and working on how to make a space inviting; learning what makes people gather. She is volunteering at GJDJ to produce promotional materials, gather the stories of Agunot, and to form closer community and social support for Agunot through live/virtual gatherings.
