From Chaos to Clarity

My journey to my Get was complicated.

My ex-husband was pretty much unavailable to discuss divorce during the process. I tried to get through somehow, and so did Esther Macner and other community leaders who were helping me, but the process really stalled.

The whole thing was so stressful.

Divorce and especially the Get process can be so overwhelming, sad, and emotional.

It was such a dark place.

I was constantly strategizing in my head. It was hard to put aside the whole Get issue and function, keeping up with my daily tasks and responsibilities.

I was an Agunah for three years.
We separated in 2019. 

My Ex was already living with someone else before I even reached out to the Bais Din. He had been cheating on me during our marriage. 

There was very clearly no option for Shalom Bayit…
Still, I felt like I was being patronized, or placated.
